Looking for activities for your child to do after the school day ends? Owatonna Middle School has new after-school enrichment activities available for all students. We typically run two sessions throughout the year.  Students may choose a Monday or a Wednesday class (or both) from the list of programs. Each class will meet eight times.

After-school activities will register through https://owatonna.feepay.com/. Each program has a minimum and maximum number of participants to run, with registrations being logged on a first-registered, first-served basis. The participant fee is $30 per class. We have received a grant from the United Way of Steele County to scholarship students if they currently have free/reduced status with Nutritional Services. Students participating in the Targeted Services program on Tuesdays and Thursdays may participate in a Monday or Wednesday program at no cost; however, they must register for a seat in the class of their choice. All class supplies will be included unless indicated in the class description. Students will be provided a free nutritious snack from Nutrition Services before each class.

Classes offered may include the following: Weekly Workout Sampler, Rubik's Cube, Model Building, Cribbage, Book Club, Technology Sampler, Sphero BOLT Robots, Knitting, Film Club, Baking Club, Ping Pong, Winter Wonderland.

Please look for information to come out in the parent newsletter, The Middle Matters.
